To my professor and classmates of English 213:
I am terribly sorry for missing the last class on Friday. Unfortunately, unforeseen events arose and I was forced to deal with a slight emergency. I do realize that this may or may not affect the class, however, education is built on the backs of those who participate. So I would like offer myself upon the court. You could all vote me off of the island (which I would completely understand), but take this into consideration: I do NOT intend to miss anymore classes unforeseen or otherwise. So let us continue the “blogging” uninhibited.
